My Mission

The Creative Child Studio was founded in 2021 by Angela Creasy in Wilmington, North Carolina. It was designed to provide a space and opportunity for young children to explore their creativity and self expression, and to develop a love and appreciation for art, the process of creating, and most importantly, for themselves. 

Note from Angela: 

I have been working with children for over 23 years, and I have always appreciated and been in awe of children and their unique and imaginative ways of looking at the world. I created this studio to provide an opportunity for children to have a safe and nurturing space to explore their creativity and talents. It is my goal that each student will leave one of my classes or workshops feeling inspired and proud of what they have accomplished, and to recognize and value their own unique and special gifts. I want children to delight in the joy of doing, rather than the technical details. I want to encourage them to believe in themselves, and be reminded that they are unique and special, and that what they have to offer the world is important. There is no right or wrong way to be creative. I want to inspire children to believe that the way they see beauty in the world and in art is always the right way...
