Every Child is an Artist

The Creative Child Studio is a children's art studio located in Wilmington, North Carolina. It is a process based art studio, which focuses on the process of creating and the experience, rather than the technique or finished product. It was designed to provide a space and opportunity for children to have fun while exploring their creativity and self expression, and to develop a love and appreciation for art and creating, and more importantly, for themselves. It is my goal that each child will leave one of my classes feeling accomplished and proud, and to recognize and appreciate their own unique and special gifts. I want to encourage children to focus on the simple joy of doing. There is no right or wrong way to be creative. I want to inspire children to believe that what they have to offer creatively is of value and important, and that the way they see beauty in the world and in art is always the right way, and always beautiful. It is my belief that allowing children the freedom to naturally and authentically create from their own heart is what builds confidence and self love.
